I was looking back at my own journey of getting to 6 figures as a coach, and I saw something that just blew my mind! Leading up to when I was launching my first course back in 2021, I was doing a ton of things – I had a free Facebook group, I was changing my content on Instagram, going live on Facebook, but I wasn’t actually selling anything.

And when I first launched The Lit Life, it was pretty successful considering I had no fucking clue what I was doing. I knew it was changing lives and I was ready to figure out how to turn this into a legitimate 6-figure income stream. I spent the next year doing everything I could, but nothing was working, and it was so frustrating.

As I was looking back at my income statement, I saw that January of 2022 was an $850 month. February was a $14k month. By June, I was at consistent $10k or more months. So, clearly something changed because the year prior I was trying everything and nothing was working.

So, what changed?

I realized that getting to 6-figure months wasn’t about having a shit ton of followers, or dancing on reels, or doing every single strategy under the sun. It’s about the core foundational skills that are required to become a 6-figure coach. No matter how you’re trying to sell your offers, or how big your following is, or how many hours you’re working, none of that matters if you don’t focus on these core foundational skills.

From that moment, I shifted my focus.

Having a 6-figure mindset

The first thing I did was I realized I had some serious mindset shit going on. If I wanted to become a 6-figure coach, I needed to have a 6-figure mindset and believe without a shadow of a doubt that having consistent $10k months in my business was actually possible.

We’re always getting in our own way. We have these deep-rooted subconscious beliefs, and we’ere constantly having to shift those thoughts and do the work. And once you do the work, it changes everything.

Having messaging that slaps

The second thing I did was look at my messaging. When I say messaging, all I mean by that is the words you’re using to talk about your offers and to tell people what it is, who it’s for, and why it’s valuable. Your messaging has to slap. It needs to stop your ideal client right in their tracks and make them think like, “Oh, she’s in my fucking head! How did she know that?”

When you are able to nail your messaging, it unlocks easy sales. It’s when dream clients slide into your DMs and want to know how they can work with you or where they can buy your course.

Now, since I’ve been able to master those core foundational things, all of the other strategies work, and that’s why I’m so passionate about teaching this. And that’s why I am opening the doors to the next round of the Six Figure Coach Life program which begins on February 5th.

In addition to learning and having my support when it comes to mindset and messaging, we will also go over the other foundational things that are required for you to get to six figures in your coaching business.
